NFL: Steelers and Vikings still undefeated

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings remain undefeated in the current NFL season. The Steelers – again with Justin Fields as quarterback and without the recently injured Russell Wilson – beat the Los Angeles Chargers 20-10 on Sunday. The Vikings defeated the previously undefeated Houston Texans 34-7.

The Philadelphia Eagles have beaten the surprisingly strong New Orleans Saints and secured their second win in the third NFL game of the season. In the stadium where the Super Bowl will be played in February, the Eagles turned the tight game around with a late touchdown and won 15:12.

Saquon Barkley with two touchdowns

The previously unbeaten Saints took the lead with two minutes to go, but were immediately put under pressure by a moment of carelessness and a large gain in ground by the visitors. A bad pass from Saints quarterback Derek Carr sealed the defeat. Running back Saquon Barkley played the biggest role in the Eagles’ victory with two touchdowns.

Barkley’s former team, the New York Giants, also had reason to celebrate. The team, with Jakob Johnson from Stuttgart, beat the Cleveland Browns 21:15 and recorded their first win after two defeats at the start of the season. Rodgers leads Jets back to victory

Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the New York Jets to success on Friday in his long-awaited return to MetLife Stadium. In his first home game for the Jets in over a year, his team defeated the New England Patriots 24-3, with the now 40-year-old Rodgers contributing two touchdown passes and rushing for 281 yards.

“I felt pretty good tonight”said Rodgers, who completed 27 of 35 passes. He said “Done some things I did as a younger man”He feels “Great to be able to play a whole game for our fantastic fans”.

Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon in his home game for the Jets last season and has not played in front of a home crowd since then. Now he and his team celebrated their second win in three games of the season, but the Patriots suffered their second loss.
