Prince Harry’s strange connection to P. Diddy comes to light again

News from the British royal family shows that Harry, the Duke of Sussex, may currently regret his connection to accused sex offender Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York City on Monday, and in his 2023 memoir, “Spare,” Harry wrote that he personally selected the rapper to perform at a 2007 benefit concert honoring his late mother, Diana.

Prince Harry’s X-rated memoir came out last year, and now a section of the book where he talks about the hip-hop mogul is getting renewed attention. Read on to find out what Harry had to say about his connection with the once-popular rap star.

Harry is credited with organizing the concert along with his older brother and heir, Prince William.

Even then, Harry’s choice of artist was controversial. According to Ginger Judas, he also chose A-list celebrities “like Elton John, Fergie, Duran Duran, Nelly Furtado, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams” to honor his late mother.

According to the Mirror, Harry wrote: “On the tenth anniversary of our mother’s death, Willy and I organized a concert in her honor. The proceeds were to go to her favorite charities and to a new charity I had just founded – Sentebale.”

Harry added: “While we were planning the concert, Willy and I were emotionless. It was all just business. It’s the anniversary, we have to do this, there are a million details, period.”

That’s a strange way of explaining how he wanted to honor his mother on what would have been her 46th birthday and the tenth anniversary of her death. The concert was at Wembley Stadium and tickets cost about $50 apiece.

Diddy has been charged with various crimes, including “Sex trafficking and organized crime. He has been denied bail twice and is now being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.”

In March, authorities searched his homes in Miami and Beverly Hills, where weapons, drugs and evidence of his “freak out” Parties were held. You really don’t want to know what a freak-off party is, trust us. Suffice it to say that “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant were discovered in the mansions.” Diana would have been so proud?
