This year, numerous celebrities did not miss the opening day of the Oktoberfest.

Yesterday (21 September) the largest folk festival in the world opened its doors again, and an incredible six million guests from all over the world are expected to attend the grand finale on 6 October. As in every year, numerous stars and starlets did not miss the Oktoberfest tapping. Right at the front: beer mug terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger, 77, who declared the spectacle on Munich’s Theresienwiese to be the “most important festival in the world”.

“It’s the most important festival in the world!”

As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the Hollywood star with Austrian roots stocked up on traditional clothing from head to toe in Munich’s traditional “Trachten Angermeier” shop before heading to the Oktoberfest and also organized Oktoberfest outfits for the entire team of his current Netflix series “Fubar”. In the evening, he stormed the stage in the Marstall tent and belted out an enthusiastic declaration of love to the cheering festival guests: “I love, love Munich, I love the Oktoberfest. It is the most important festival in the world!”

Gottschalk’s Wiesn debut with wife Karina

The loyal Wiesn fan Thomas Gottschalk, 73, also did not miss the Oktoberfest opening with his new wife Karina Mroß, 61, and started the day at 9 a.m. with a classic white sausage breakfast. The “Brisant” celebrity reporter Susanne Klehn, 43, posted a snapshot of the couple on a horse-drawn carriage on Instagram and provided a comprehensive overview of the events at the Wiesn in her show that evening.

Markus Söder in a great party mood

Of course, pop star Florian Silbereisen, 43, was also one of the first prominent guests at this year’s Oktoberfest. On his Instagram account, he posted a humorous group photo with the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder, 57, cult presenter Carolin Reiber, 83, party pop icon DJ Ötzi, 53, and his daughter Lisa-Marie, 22, under the motto “To a peaceful Oktoberfest 2024!”.

While Markus Söder was swinging the beer mug with Silbereisen, his daughter Gloria-Sophie Burkandt, 25, joined the fray together with Boris Becker’s, 56, daughter Anna Ermakova, 24. Traditionally dressed in colorful dirndls, both of them stuck to gingerbread hearts rather than hearty beer during their Oktoberfest fun.

Katja Krasavice presents new nose

On their way, the two may also have crossed paths with rapper Katja Krasavice, 28, who proudly showed off her new nose at the Oktoberfest. As she assured the “Bild”, the recently completed cosmetic surgery was for medical reasons. “I couldn’t breathe properly anymore,” said the star. “My nostrils were different. I don’t want to have any more problems and of course I’ll have the cosmetic procedure straight away.”

Cancer patient Patrice Aminati with new energy in a dirndl

The appearance of presenter Daniel Aminati, 51, at the side of his wife Patrice, 29, also provided a joyful and hopeful surprise at the Oktoberfest tapping. The influencer has been battling cancer since 2023, but now seems to be on the road to recovery after a second therapy. She revealed to “Bild”: “The doctors said I should do everything that is good for me. That’s why there will be a Maß today.” Her cheerful husband added: “We are incredibly grateful, because a few months ago my health didn’t look good at all.”
