Perpetrator robs passerby and lets child watch

Chemnitz- A passerby (36) was hit yesterday morning in Chemnitz robbed by an as yet unknown person. The unbelievable thing: The perpetrator had a child with him in a handcart, who had to watch the attack!

The whole thing happened around 11:30 a.m. on Zietenstraße on Sonnenberg. The 36-year-old was approached unsuspectingly by the stranger.

“The unknown person claims that the victim stole a bicycle and now has to pay 20 euros so that he can keep the bicycle,” said a police spokeswoman.

But the 36-year-old refused to pay the money. Then it happened! The perpetrator grabbed the passerby by the neck and took 80 euros that the man was holding in his hand and was about to put in his trouser pocket. The robber then fled.

Crazy! According to the police, the perpetrator had a handcart with him in which a child was sitting. The child had to watch the robbery attacks.

• muscular with belly

• wore a bright yellow T-shirt
• The handcart had black and red wheels
