The Bremen Freimarkt 2024 is starting soon and this year there will be many new rides. Among them: the highest mobile skylift in the world.

Bremen – It’s almost time: The 989th Freimarkt has started in Bremen. Starting on October 18th, the Easter meadow will be all about partying, delicious food and the many rides for three weeks. This year, there will be around 300 showmen and with them lots of new things. An overview.

All new features at a glance: This is what the Bremen Freimarkt 2024 offers

There are rides at the Bremen Freimarkt that delight visitors year after year. The Ferris wheel, for example, is now a must. But there always has to be something new. The Kramermarkt in Oldenburg, for example, is setting an example with its new products. Because what hasn’t been seen there is also unknown in Bremen.

The “Nordic Tower” is taking part in both festivals for the first time. The chain flyer celebrated its premiere in Bielefeld and is now coming to Bremen’s Osterwiese. It takes visitors to the Freimarkt in quick circular movements up to a height of 80 meters. The “moon lift” is also new and spectacular. 40 people are moved quickly in circles around an axis in gondolas. Then the carousel slowly moves upwards like a Ferris wheel and stands up. Looping rides are guaranteed.

Pure adrenaline: Freimarkt with several sensational new features

Another new attraction at the Bremen Freimarkt – which has, incidentally, repeatedly clashed with the oldest fair in the northwest throughout its history – is the “Ghost Rider”. 32 people are shaken up in 26 gondolas. Similar to the classic “Commander”, the ride goes in many different directions on a large turntable – as the gondolas also rotate on their own axis.

For those who want to take it a little easier, the “balloon ride” is a new attraction for the whole family. Children can ride a few meters up in small gondolas in peace and quiet. The “Hotel Edelweiss” is also designed for young and old – here visitors can explore several floors on foot, which have a few surprises in store.

But it’s also going really high at the Bremen Freimarkt 2024. Another new feature is the “Look 360°” viewing platform. 80 people are transported in four cabins at a height of 71 meters. This ride is brand new – and the highest mobile skylift in the world. “Look 360°” celebrated its premiere at the Rheinkirmes in Düsseldorf in July.
