Berlin: Suspicious cyclist prompts police to search

Berlin – An extremely harmless traffic control has Berlin led to a search of the apartment – and ultimately to the arrest of a suspected drug dealer.

The police made the spectacular case public on Saturday afternoon on the short message service X (formerly Twitter).

Had a war happened? According to reports, a police patrol noticed a man on Saturday night who was riding his bike without his lights on.

When the suspect also covered his face from the officers, they took a closer look. And they found something: the man was carrying several stolen credit cards and ID cards.

There was also cash, cannabis and cocaine, constantly ringing phones and the business card of a drug delivery service. Enough material for a house search.

In the suspected dealer’s apartment, the police also found a blank-firing gun, packaging material, stolen goods and burglary tools.

A direct hit! The seized evidence is now being examined by the entire police department. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
