Lizzie is proud of her weight loss progress, although she denies that it is due to taking Ozempic.

“When you finally get Ozempic accusations after 5 months of strength training and calorie deficit,” Lizzo, 36, wrote in a social media video on Friday, September 20.

In the clip, Lizzo (real name Melissa Jefferson) showed a closed-mouth smile while wearing a silk coat.

She captioned her post “oZeMpIc or cOkE?”, which was attributed to a “fan.” According to a screenshot included in her upload, a social media user had asked if the singer “[used] ozempic” or “[snorted] Coke” in an earlier photo of Lizzo pulling leather shorts over a Yitty bodysuit. (Yitty is Lizzo’s shapewear brand.)

The truth doesn’t always have to hurt. Lizzo is dedicated to helping women accept and love their bodies as much as she does. Her efforts have resulted in countless anthems and motivational quotes to keep her fans on the path to better body positivity. “It definitely comes with time,” said the Grammy […]

In response, Lizzo replied, “Why are you following me?”

Ozempic, Wegovy and other similar semaglutides are often prescribed to adults with conditions such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes to control their weight. Many celebrities have tried these drugs to lose weight quickly, but doctors warn against using them for occasional weight loss.

Before Lizzo’s denial, she showed her fitness routine.

“I’m not thin, I’m fat😤“, she captioned a gym video on Friday showing off her biceps.

The “Truth Hurts” actress spoke openly about her recent weight loss.

“I was methodical and lost weight very slowly,” said Lizzo The New York Times in an April profile, noting that she takes a daily walk or does Pilates. “I don’t really see it because as anyone who loses weight naturally knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world and you don’t really notice it until you notice it. Plus, the scale doesn’t really move. But whatever, that doesn’t matter. I’m super proud of my current lifestyle.”

As a result, Lizzo has transformed her long-standing body-positive attitude into a “body neutral” one.

Ozempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss, with some stars confirming they have taken the drug while others deny it. “I’m not going to lie and say I love my body every day,” Lizzo explained to the outlet. “The bottom line is that your attitude towards your body changes every day. There are days when I love my body and others when I don’t feel completely comfortable.”

She concluded: “My body is nobody’s business.”

According to Lizzo, it took a lot of “time” for her to accept her appearance.

“It definitely comes with time,” the Grammy winner said exclusively We weekly in September 2019. “Growing up, I didn’t really have the opportunities or privileges to feel like a sex symbol. I was a fat black girl in Houston and I didn’t see myself in magazines. I was like, ‘You know what, bitch? I want to be a sex symbol!’ That’s what I told myself when I was 22, 23.”

This realization helped Lizzo accept her sexuality.

“I started working on it more and more and I realized that the vulnerability I show when I’m naked is my greatest strength,” she added Us.
