Upgrade your Series X|S before the big holiday releases with Seagate’s official $130 expansion card

Amazon now offers the 1TB Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S at $129.99 ready to ship. This model has been regularly offered for just under $160 in 2024, and now matches the lowest price we’ve seen on Amazon in several months. While there was a quick drop to $125 in March and some fleeting Woot deals for less, today’s deal is a notable opportunity to breathe new life into your console ahead of the holiday release schedule and into next year.

Also worth mentioning is the only other official 1TB Xbox SSD expansion card, the WD_BLACK C50. This is also a notable solution, but costs 150$ at the moment with the only other cheaper option comes through the 500GB variant, which is sold for $80 at Amazon.

These official options are really the only way, in my opinion. They leverage the Xbox Velocity Architecture as well as Microsoft’s Quick Resume feature to expand your game storage with an SSD that essentially works the same as the one your console shipped with.
