EA Sports FC 25 is the second spin-off of the Electronic Arts football simulation that does not require the FIFA license. As usual, we can get back on the field in the fall, but when exactly will the kick-off sound for whom? Not only are there two dates, Early Access and the regular release, the times also play an important role for everyone who can hardly wait.

Therefore, we break down the exact release dates including start times here.

When can I play EA FC 25?

Who can start playing depends on the edition purchased and the platform. Generally speaking, anyone who is eligible for early access can start a week earlier. A preload is already available.

  • Early Access Release Date: 20 September 2024
  • Regular release date: 27 September 2024

Early Access Times (Ultimate Edition/EA Play)

Early Access has been running since September 20th. Depending on the platform, we were able to start at the following times:

  • PS4/PS5: 0:00 German time
  • Xbox One/Series X/S: 0:00 German time
  • Nintendo Switch: 0:00 German time
  • PCs: 6:00 a.m. German time

Early Access gets everyone who dies have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition or subscribed to EA Play. The Ultimate Edition is included in EA Play Pro for the duration of the active subscription. Those who own Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can also access EA Play at no additional cost.

If you decide to go for an Early Access version before the regular release, you can also jump in straight away.

Global Release Start Time (Standard Edition)

On September 27th, the times for the console and PC versions will be identical:

  • PS4/PS5: 0:00 German time
  • Xbox One/Series X/S: 0:00 German time
  • Nintendo Switch: 0:00 German time
  • PCs: 6:00 a.m. German time

The web or companion app, in which we can, for example, manage our FUT teams, view the Team of the Week (TOTW) and access the transfer market, is already available in the browser as well as on mobile.

They also help us set up our Ultimate Team, trade players and much more before the release. If you don’t have early access, you can warm up a bit using the companion app.
