Bar brawl escalates, but no one wants to have had anything to do with it

Hamburg- Bloody confrontation! A man was stabbed early Saturday morning in the Hamburg district of Schnelsen.

As a spokesman for the police situation center explained in response to a query from TAG24, the man had gotten into a fight in a bar on Burgwedel Street.

He suffered cuts caused by a knife or broken glass. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

One person tried to make a run for it when the police arrived, but was caught after a few hundred meters. His entire body was covered in blood. It is unclear, however, whether this came from the victim.

The background to the altercation is still completely unclear, as all those present, including the victim, did not speak to the officers. The criminal police have taken over the investigation.
