Zarna Garg will soon have her own show on CBS. Zarna, The multi-camera comedy traces Garg’s journey from immigrating to the United States to graduating from high school and working as a stay-at-home mom for 16 years before pursuing a career as a comedian. The show is produced by Darlene Hunt, Mindy Kaling’s Kaling International, Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat and Warner Bros. Television.

Garg, who rose to fame on TikTok and Instagram with her content about immigrant mothers in America, became a well-known figure in the stand-up scene after her win on the comedy reality show. Lyft Comics produced by Kevin Hart in 2021. The show featured aspiring comedians disguised as Lyft drivers telling jokes.

The comedian released her first standup special One in a billion last year on Amazon Prime Video. She also toured with comedy legends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on her Restless Legs Syndrome Tour. Garg was also part of Apple TV’s Brave starring Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. Garg’s other accolades include the 2021 Ladies of Laughter Award and a nomination from the Austin Film Festival for the Best Comedy Prize for her screenplay Rearranged.
