Here the training is running live on TV and stream today

Formula 1 is more exciting than ever before: the battle for the World Championship is coming to a dramatic head. The next race will take place in Singapore, on a track where anything can happen. Where will the training sessions, qualifying and the race be shown live on TV and stream? sport.de provides an overview.

Good news for all Formula 1 fans: The upcoming race weekend in Singapore will not only be held as usual on Heaven* but also at RTL+* and live on free TV at RTL. We’ll show you when you can see which sessions.

With seven races to go before the end of the 2024 season, the battle for the two Formula 1 world championship titles is wide open. In the constructors’ championship, McLaren has been 20 points ahead of Red Bull and 51 points ahead of Ferrari since Baku. In the drivers’ championship, Max Verstappen is only 59 points ahead of Lando Norris, and the trend is falling.

It is precisely in this hot phase that the race is taking place in Singapore, on a track where Red Bull has had major problems in recent years. In 2023, Verstappen and Sergio PĂ©rez were only fifth and eighth. A year earlier, the Mexican won, but the Dutchman crossed the line in a defeated seventh place. If things continue like this in 2024, the air at the top of the World Championship table will probably become thinner again for Verstappen.

The spectacle in Singapore starts on Friday at 11:30 a.m. (CET) with the first free practice session. The real highlight is likely to be the qualifying, which begins on Saturday at 3 p.m. The race starts on Sunday at 2 p.m.
