“Katharina Tempel – What We Fear” today in live stream and TV: This is what the film by Jens Wischnewski is about

On the very day that Detective Inspector Katharina Tempel and her husband Volker decided to attend the first session of couples therapy, she and her boss, Chief Inspector Georg König, are called to court for a shooting. The young prisoner Felix Brenner has managed to escape in the presence of Katharina’s friend, public prosecutor Golda Hopkins. A prison officer is hovering between life and death in the hospital. Felix Brenner is accused of the murder of the teacher Patrizia Oelrich, who was killed in her house six months ago. It quickly becomes clear to Katharina that Georg, who led the investigation at the time, is hiding something from her in this case. Felix Brenner’s defense attorney, his twin sister Moira Brenner, is convinced of her brother’s innocence and accuses Georg of having investigated too one-sidedly. Felix did not flee to go into hiding, but to prove his innocence. The investigation ultimately leads Katharina into the shared past of Patrizia Oelrich and Felix Brenner. Apparently the key to this case lies in a dark family secret that surrounds the accidental death of Patrizia’s eldest son Leon more than 15 years ago. Felix was Leon’s best friend. As it becomes increasingly clear that Georg made a serious mistake when he arrested Felix, Katharina’s relationship with him is put to the test.
