Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: Prices from 80 to 220 euros

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be released on November 19th – among other things as a day-one release for Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass PC. If you don’t want to use the subscription for around 10 to 15 euros a month – but want to play MSFS 2024, you have to buy the full digital version in the appropriate Microsoft store. There are options for Xbox and Windows 10/11 in the store. There is no information about “Play Anywhere”. This would allow you to use the game on one platform at the same time after purchasing it.

As things stand, this option is only available via Game Pass Ultimate. For 14.99 euros a month, you get access to the standard edition for as long as your subscription is valid. There are also discounts if you want to upgrade to one of the more expensive full versions permanently and without the need for a subscription.

What is included in the editions?

• Die Standard edition contains (over) 65 aircraft and 150 airports.
• The approximately 30 Euro more expensive Deluxe Edition Ten planes and five airports are added.
• If you add another 30 euros for the Premium Deluxe Edition There will be 25 additional aircraft and 10 new international take-off and landing options.
• For around 220 euros – 80 euros more – you can get the Aviator Edition the identical content of the Premium Deluxe Edition and all “30 Marketplace versions published by Microsoft[Flugzeuge]developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator between 2021 and 2024.”

Those who pre-order MSFS 2024 will get access to the “De Havilland Canada CL-415 firefighting aircraft”, which will also be available directly in the predecessor Flight Simulator 2020.

According to Microsoft, it would be ideal if your PC met this requirement:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X or Intel Core i7-14700K
• GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XT or Geforce RTX 4080
• Graphics memory: 12 GB
• RAM: 64 GB

If your PC does not meet the requirements, you can still stream it via Game Pass Ultimate and Xcloud in addition to the Xbox Series X and S consoles. However, your internet connection must be sufficient.
