Nail polish trends 2024: These colors are in this fall – and these are out

When your Instagram feed slowly but surely changes from beach vibes to pumpkin spice latte, you know that autumn is here – and with it a breath of fresh air for your manicure routine. The trend colors for the fall 2024 season are anything but boring. We’ll tell you which shades will make your nails totally on trend this season – and which colors you can banish to the back corner of your nail polish shelf.

Trend update 2024: These are the nail polish colors in autumn

1. Brown tones: Brown tones are in – butter yellow is out again

Brown is probably one of the biggest nail polish trends this fall and is now replacing the summery butter yellow. Whether it’s delicate caramel or strong coffee brown – this palette creates moods that are as cozy as your favorite sweater. And the best thing: brown always works.

Whether in the office, in your free time or at a fancy event – with these shades you can rock autumn in any environment. How about toffee nails à la Selena Gomez instead of pink this autumn or elegant chocolate brown instead of classic dark red?

2. Green tones are in – but blue and lilac are out

The summer was colorful and loud, now things are calmer on the nails. Colors like light blue and lilac have to be soft now. The trend around matcha nails will stay with us in the new season, but now it’s getting an autumnal update.

While we like to use bright or pastel green tones in the warmer seasons, in autumn we prefer muted, earthy shades of green. Such tones immediately give our entire look a youthful and fresh touch, but still appear classy.

3. Glamor alert: Metallic nails are in – glitter is out

In autumn 2024, we will say goodbye to nail polishes with glitter particles. Instead, elegant metallic-look polishes will be added to our nail polish collection. Whether gold, bronze or cool black – these colours bring the luxury look directly to your nails.

This season we’re not wearing bright metallic nails, but rather dark and mysterious. For example, the brown or green trend can be wonderfully implemented with metallics. Dark metallics are simply the perfect way to give your nails a classy upgrade.
