The popular American restaurant in Dortmund city center was closed for weeks. Now it is set to reopen – this fall.

Dortmund – In Dortmund city centre, new openings and closures in the gastronomy scene are often very close together. After many pizza fans were concerned about an Italian restaurant in the Kaiserviertel, there is now good news to announce. The “Knusperz” is celebrating its reopening after its sudden closure in the summer.

“The wait is over!”, the American restaurant greeted its guests on Instagram. “We are pleased to announce that we will be back on October 1st,” it continues. In recent weeks, a lot of work has taken place to get the “Knusperz” back on track.

For example, the kitchen was remodeled and the menu revised. Time was also taken to plan a big opening party in Dortmund.

The “Knusperz” on Hohen Straße in Dortmund suddenly closed in July. On Google, the restaurant is still marked as “temporarily closed”. There was no precise information about the closure for a long time. Many guests are worried that the “Knusperz” might remain closed permanently.
