Mike Eßmann becomes new Managing Director Logistics

Mike Eßmann will take over the position of Managing Director of Logistics at the beverage logistics company Trinks from October 1, 2024.

The experienced manager comes from the ranks of the main shareholder Rewe. Since 2018, he has held various management positions in the logistics sector. He succeeds Thomas Majocco at Trinks.

Rewe has been the majority shareholder in Trinks since 2023

At the end of 2023, Trinks repositioned itself with a changed shareholder structure to face even greater challenges in the market in the future. At that time, the food retailer Rewe acquired a 50 percent stake in the group as part of a comprehensive capital increase.

The other 50 percent are distributed equally among the former shareholders Bitburger Brewery Group, Krombacher Brewery and Warsteiner Brewery.
