The Belgian champions had their problems at the beginning of the season, but were able to get back on track. The Belgians’ goal for this season in the premier class is certainly to survive the league phase and at least make it to the intermediate round. After a sensational 2023/24 Champions League season, the Black and Yellows want to attack again in the new format. In the league, the processes under Nuri Şahin seem to be slowly taking hold, which is urgently needed today. You can follow this exciting duel for free on the Swiss channel RSI LA 2 – but only with Italian commentary.

The broadcaster is also streaming the party for free online. However, access from Germany is not actually possible due to a country block. The country block can be circumvented with a VPN service – but legally you are operating in a grey area here.

The new format quickly explained

This season, the old group system will be shelved for the time being. A new league system is intended to provide more excitement and additional games. The total of 36 participants will all compete in a single league, with each team initially playing eight games. This means that each club will have four home and four away games in the league phase. The best eight teams will go straight into the round of 16, while places 9 to 24 will have to play in an intermediate round. This means that a total of 12 teams will be eliminated directly. There will no longer be relegation to the Europa League.

Avoid shady streams

There may also be other, shady streaming platforms offering free streams that you should definitely avoid. Firstly, using such a streaming portal is a criminal offense. Secondly, you could catch viruses on your device. We’ll tell you which streaming providers are reputable and which aren’t.
