Samsung’s 700 euro Galaxy Watch Ultra can handle a lot: It has a titanium case, can withstand temperatures between -10 and +55 degrees Celsius, is waterproof up to 10 ATM and also works at an altitude of 9000 meters. The Wear OS smartwatch also has all kinds of sensors on board to monitor health and serve as a training partner for countless sports. It communicates via Bluetooth 5.3, LTE-eSIM and WLAN.

The supplied strap seems sturdy and is relatively rigid, leaving clear marks on the skin even when worn loosely. The metal buckle and strap loop are angular and clunky, and they press uncomfortably when you are sitting at a desk and working on the computer. The Watch Ultra is also quite heavy and quite large at 93 grams including the strap. Overall, it is not the most comfortable watch for everyday use.
