Red Sox lineup: Tanner Houck remains on schedule and will start on Wednesday

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Tanner Houck (shoulder fatigue) remains on schedule to start Wednesday.

The Red Sox and Rays play here at Tropicana Field at 6:50 p.m. Boston lost here 8-3 on Tuesday, falling below .500 for the first time since June 11 (75-76).

The Red Sox removed Houck from the game just 55 minutes before first pitch on Friday at Yankee Stadium because of shoulder fatigue. He has a 3.24 ERA in 28 starts.

Right-hander Ryan Pepiot (8-6, 3.76 ERA) will start for the Rays.

Rafael Devers’ problems continued on Tuesday. He went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Since the beginning of August, he’s hit 32-for-150 (.213). Since August 19, he’s hit 16-for-88 (.182) with two extra-base hits.
