How we created the expanded KQED California Voter Guide

How we created the expanded KQED California Voter Guide

KQED’s award-winning Voter Guide is back – this year with information on everyone Racing in the Bay Area.

The staff at KQED is committed to making information about the election easy to understand, accessible and free to the public. We have a team of about 100 reporters, editors and producers working to inform you about the policies and candidates you will be voting for in the November 2024 general election.

The KQED Voter Guide continues to provide you with information on elections across California, including the 10-state ballot nominations and the U.S. Senate race.

Plus, for the first time, we’re now covering all local elections in all nine Bay Area counties. That means we have information on every contested measure, every school board race, every race for a city or town council seat, and every race for a local board and legislature seat, so you can be a more informed voter.

The KQED team has listened to your feedback. And we’re now covering all local elections because you told us you wanted more detail about local policies and elections, where reliable information can be difficult to find.
