Sonos Arc Ultra and Sub 4: Mega leak reveals images and prices of soundbar and subwoofer

The Sonos Arc Ultra is set to be the company’s new soundbar flagship. Now the sound bar has been revealed in a new leak.

However, the Sonos Arc is not due to be released until 2025. Although the release was originally scheduled for 2024, the ongoing disputes with the new app have led to a postponement. At least: Thanks to a leak, we can see not only high-resolution images of the Arc Ultra soundbar, but also of the Sub 4 subwoofer. Both products are set to be launched at the same time.

Sonos Arc Ultra to cost $999

There is only vague information about the technology of the Sonos Arc Ultra so far. Technology from Mayht is now said to be integrated – Sonos took over the company in 2022. Accordingly, it is said that the soundbar offers an even more balanced and spatial sound. The Sonos Arc Ultra is set to appear in black and white.

According to leaks, the Sonos Arc Ultra will cost $999 in the USA. Since taxes and higher duties still have to be taken into account in Europe, you have to expect a significantly higher sum here. As already mentioned, however, the soundbar flagship will not be on the market before 2025.

This is the Sonos Sub 4

But then there is also the Sonos Sub 4. This is due to be launched at the same time as the Sonos Arc Ultra and will probably cost 799 US dollars. Again, you should expect to pay a higher sum for Europe. The new subwoofer is said to use a technology called force-canceling. This is intended to minimize vibrations and oscillations in the housing for better sound.

Like the Arc Ultra, the Sonos Sub 4 will be available in black and white. Now we can only hope that Sonos makes good use of the time gained by the delay to optimize its app before the launch.
