“It is a natural rarity,” explains the 61-year-old from Kuala Lumpur, his eyes sparkling with amazement.

“We have no control over the low-hanging formation. It is a gift from nature and is the result of the tree’s unique growth pattern.”

From mowing the lawn to applying fertilizers and pesticides on time, they leave no stone unturned in their quest to produce the best durian fruits.

In addition to the rare, low-hanging Musang Kings, the farm offers a variety of other durian delicacies, including D101, D24 and Black Thorn.

And thanks to nitrogen shock freezing, visitors can enjoy the creamy, bittersweet taste of these durian fruits all year round.

This is especially notable because the durian season usually only lasts from July to August and briefly in January.
