Boris Becker and Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro tied the knot in a romantic setting. But fans of the newlyweds don’t seem to begrudge them their happiness.

Portofino – After his failed marriages with Lilly Becker (48) and Barbara Becker (57), tennis legend Boris (56) Becker found the woman of his life in risk analyst Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro (34). On Saturday (September 14th) they crowned their love with a wedding in northern Italy. The first pictures were published after the ceremony – reason enough for fans to take issue with the couple.

The German fashionwho conducted an exclusive interview with the risk analyst two days before the celebration, published on the official Instagram-Profile of the magazine photos of the dream wedding. In one picture Lilian can be seen in a floor-length white wedding dress, in another snapshot she is cutting the multi-tiered wedding cake with her husband Boris. For this special day, the 56-year-old opted for a white jacket and a black bow tie.

In the comments section, there are numerous congratulations to the loving couple. But not all fans are happy for their love – or are skeptical, despite the dream wedding. “Let’s see how long this lasts,” writes one Instagram user. “She is beautiful. “I’m just surprised why she is marrying him,” comments another.

One fan writes about the pictures, which show Boris Becker and his Lilian: “For a moment I thought that was one of Boris’ daughters, then I remembered he only has one.” Some compare the risk analyst with her husband’s ex-wives. “He certainly has a type of woman,” one observes.

The negative comments will probably not affect the newlyweds. fashionIn an interview, Lilian made it clear how much she is looking forward to the wedding – and to life in a marriage. “For me, marriage is about validating each other, caring for each other, trusting each other and sticking together,” she explained, “I never doubted for a second that I would be a part of his life and he made sure that I would stay that way.”

Only 85 guests were present at the wedding and everything was kept very intimate. In keeping with the couple, who keep their relationship private and “only share their time with very close people,” Lilian reveals.
