29-year-old dies after shooting at party store in Saginaw

SAGINAW, Michigan (WNEM)Editor’s note: Michigan State Police originally reported the shooting occurred at 10:30 p.m., but now stated the shooting occurred at 8:30 p.m.

A 29-year-old man died in a shooting at a party store in Saginaw on Monday evening, September 16.

According to Michigan State Police, the shooting occurred at 8:30 p.m. at the Bootlegger Party Store, 418 Michigan Avenue, in Saginaw.

The man suffered gunshot wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, MSP said.

There are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
