Masters expands TV window in 2025 and adds new sponsor to the mix

Golf fans can rejoice: There will be further coverage of the 2025 Masters in April.

Fred Ridley, chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament, announced Tuesday that CBS Sports will expand coverage of the tournament to Saturday and Sunday starting in 2025.

In partnership with CBS Sports, the 2025 Masters will, for the first time, feature five additional hours of live coverage from the third and final round, bringing the total weekend coverage on CBS and Paramount+ to 14 hours in addition to their digital broadcasts Thursday through Sunday.

CBS and Paramount+ will broadcast the tournament live on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET, an extra hour from Saturday’s third round. Additionally, two hours of live coverage have been added on Saturday and Sunday, airing on Paramount+ from noon to 2:00 p.m. ET. The advertising time per hour remains unchanged at four minutes.

“The Masters Tournament has been fortunate to have had an exceptional relationship with CBS Sports for nearly 70 years,” Ridley said in a press release. “Together with our friends at the network, we are excited to expand weekend coverage of the tournament and ultimately bring more live golf to Masters fans.”

Ridley also announced that Bank of America will join AT&T, IBM and Mercedes-Benz, who have renewed their relationships, as champion partners. Delta Air Lines, Rolex and UPS have returned as tournament partners.

“Through its support of our community initiatives and amateur events, Bank of America has become an influential and committed partner to our organization’s mission in Augusta and around the world,” Ridley said. “Today’s announcement celebrates an expansion of our relationship and we are excited to welcome Bank of America to our valued family of Masters tournament partners who together will strengthen the tournament for many years to come.”

Bank of America has been a proud partner of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur since its inaugural championship in 2019 and of the Latin America Amateur Championship and the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship since 2022.

The 2025 Masters tournament is scheduled for April 7-13. Scottie Scheffler is the defending champion.
