After her collapse, the pregnant Dawson is taken to hospital unconscious with internal bleeding. When she wakes up in the intensive care unit, she is in shock. Casey and she first have to come to terms with the fact that she has lost the baby. Meanwhile, Severide is investigating the disappearance of the evidence from Dawson’s office that would prove Maddox to be the arsonist. He is certain that there must be a mole. Jamie, who was initially suspected, gives him a clue as to how he could track down the perpetrator. It soon becomes clear where the leak in the department is. Meanwhile, to the dismay of all firefighters, Molly’s is threatened with closure. Borelli, the candidate, has an idea who could help.
