News Agents take to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall with a live show

The News Agents Podcast will go on stage with a tour that will premiere at the Royal Albert Hall.

The News Agents Live On Stage offers listeners the exclusive opportunity to hear Emily Maitlis, Jon Sopel and Lewis Goodall’s interpretation of key news and current affairs stories in front of a live audience at the legendary Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 1 December 2024.

‘The News Agents Live On Stage’ marks the start of Global’s plan to host more live podcast events, bringing fans their favourite shows from Global’s award-winning podcast range live and in person at venues across the UK.

Emily Maitlis said: “I am delighted that we are touring with The News Agents and I am excited to see and hear from our amazing audiences at our first live show at the Royal Albert Hall in December.”

Jon Sopel said there would be an opportunity for “lots of fun and laughter” as well as analysis and debate from news agents.

“I can’t think of a better venue to leave News Agents HQ for the first time than the Royal Albert Hall. News Agents Live On Stage will feature all the analysis and debate from the podcast and no doubt plenty of fun and laughter too,” he said.

Lewis Goodall said: “I couldn’t be more excited about The News Agents Live On Stage. The scale and reach of The News Agents is something I’ve never experienced before and the live show will take it to the next level.”

Tickets for The news agents live on stage is available for general sale from Friday, September 20, 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased through Global Player, the official app for all Global radio stations, podcasts and playlists.
