How to watch the Champions League in Canada: live streams, TV channels, start times, current schedule

The UEFA Champions League returns this week in a new format.

The elite European club tournament has been expanded from 32 to 36 teams. In addition, the clubs will compete in a single league phase rather than the traditional group phase.

The best eight teams at the end of the league phase automatically qualify for the round of 16. The teams ranked ninth to 24th will fight for the remaining eight places in a play-off with home and away matches.

Reigning champions Real Madrid will try to defend their title against a strong field of competitors.

Champions League Live streams, TV channels in Canada

The Champions League matches of the 2024/25 season will mostly be broadcast on DAZN in Canada.

DAZN originally acquired the streaming rights for the UEFA Champions League in May 2018, replacing TSN, and extended the right to broadcast the tournament this year from 2024 to 2027.
