National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, a good time to find out if you’re eligible to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

The only way to cast your vote in this election is to register to vote, and the deadline to do so in Texas is October 7.

To check your voter registration status:

You can check if you are registered to vote on the Bexar County website.

All you need to do is enter your date of birth and your house number.

How to register to vote:

  • You can also register in person at your local elections office. The Bexar County Election Office is located at 1103 S. Frio, Suite 100. If you live in a county other than Bexar, you can find out where to register in person here.

What to do if you have lost your voter registration card:

If you are registered but have lost your voter registration card, you can write to your county’s voter registrar to obtain a new one.
