44-year-old robbed in Leipzig: perpetrator escaped on electric scooter!

Leipzig- Die police In Leipzig Request for information to clarify a robbery offense.

This occurred on Friday afternoon, around 12.40 p.m. near the forest path at the Panometer in Connewitz, the authorities said.

There, a 44-year-old man was attacked by an unknown assailant who presumably hit him on the back of the head with a branch.

The perpetrator then grabbed his victim’s backpack, including his wallet and mobile phone, before making off with an electric scooter and another male person.

The 44-year-old suffered injuries in the attack and had to be treated in a hospital afterwards.

The theft damage is in the lower three-digit range.

The police have already begun investigations into a robbery.
