A Waffle House customer is accused of shooting a teenage employee because he was upset about a food order.

Laurinburg Police responded to reports that shots were fired at the restaurant in Laurinburg, North Carolina at around 12:42 a.m. Friday.

When officers arrived, they found Burlie Dawson Locklear, an 18-year-old Waffle House employee, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Locklear was taken to Scotland Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

The suspect, Florwer Carlin Lizano, 38, remains at large and is wanted for first-degree murder. ABC4 News.

According to police, the suspect arrived at the fast-food chain and ordered food, but while it was being prepared, he became “agitated and verbally abusive” to the staff.

Once he received his food, the suspect allegedly walked toward his dark gray 2014 Chevrolet, but then turned around. He allegedly fired two shots at the food truck — hitting Locklear — before fleeing, police said.
