Barça shooting star Lamine Yamal in line for mega deal

Lamine Yamal has developed at such a rapid pace that Barça is willing to make a financial commitment to their super talent. Above all, they are considering adjusting his salary, which is currently below par.

Despite being only 17 years old, FC Barcelona can no longer do without Lamine Yamal. With seven direct goal involvements in the first five LaLiga games, the super talent, who was previously crowned European champion with Spain, is outstanding.

Barça will reward the shooting star’s meteoric rise with an XXL contract. Marca is following the Blaugrana, where Hansi Flick gave Yamal the ultimate praise, with a precise plan – and they want to take several measures at once. Firstly, Yamal’s salary, which currently amounts to just 1.5 million euros plus bonuses, is to be increased significantly.

In discussions with agent Jorge Mendes, not only a salary increase is to be agreed, but also the basis for a contract extension is to be laid. The club’s idea is that Yamal, for whom Barça is able to make a world record offer, should sign a long-term professional contract until 2030. His current contract is valid until 2026.

In July next year, Yamal will come of age, and then a huge contract will be beckoning him. Just a few days ago, he made it clear that he does not want to leave Barça – not even for a three-digit million sum: “I don’t want the 120 million if I have to leave Barça for it. I hope I never have to leave Barça. I want to become a legend here.”
