For the second time this year, Hollywood came to the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 15 to honor television’s biggest stars. The series “Shōgun” dominated the 76th Emmy Awards with 18 wins, and “The Bear: King of the Kitchen” took home 11 trophies. After the 2023 ceremony was postponed to January 2024 due to the screenwriters’ strike, only eight months had passed between the events.

As at the beginning of the year, “The Bear” actors Jeremy Allen White (33) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (47) again won the award for best leading actor and best supporting actor in a comedy. Co-star Liza Colón-Zayas (52) won her first Emmy for best supporting actress. “Hacks” star Jean Smart (73) won the award for best leading actress in a comedy. The biggest surprise of the evening was that “Hacks” won the award for best comedy ahead of “The Bear”, which many considered the favorite. Jodie Foster (61) was able to accept her first Emmy for her role in “True Detective”.

Figure-hugging and shimmering is trend

Of course, the stars’ looks also attract a lot of attention at the Emmys. Jennifer Aniston (55) was the last to arrive and shone in a strapless, pearl-colored dress by Oscar de la Renta, combined with a diamond bracelet by Tiffany & Co. Many guests and journalists confirmed that she was the best-dressed woman of the evening. The dress is inspired by mermaids and is covered in pearls throughout – decorated with a shell-shaped design. Selena Gomez (32) also provided glamour with a striking black and silver Ralph Lauren dress with a crossed halter neckline and silver decorations.

Sofía Vergara (52) accentuated her figure in a figure-hugging, purple dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress of the “Modern Family” star was decorated with ruffles and had a striking neckline.

Dakota Fanning (30) shimmered in her strapless, gold dress – which was also decorated with delicate pearls throughout and had a ruffled neckline. The former child star combined the dress with open and slightly wavy hair and minimal jewelry. Reese Witherspoon (48) had opted for a strapless black and gold dress with floral accents. She wore a striking necklace, rings and delicate earrings.
