Special tribute on Senior Citizens’ Day for the 100th birthday

TRAUN. Around 600 senior citizens came together again at the 52nd Senior Citizens’ Day in the city of Traun to chat together in a convivial atmosphere, enjoy culinary delicacies and listen to the lively music of the “Lustigen Adjuvanten”.

Mayor Karl-Heinz Koll and Vice Mayor and Social Affairs Officer Peter Aichmayr were also able to welcome numerous guests of honor, including MP Wolfgang Stanek and District Administrator Manfred Hageneder. A wonderful highlight was the honoring of one of Traun’s oldest residents: Anna Pschandl recently celebrated her 100th birthday and was delighted to receive a Traun gift basket, a certificate of honor and a bouquet of flowers.

“We always look forward to our senior citizens’ day. It is a great opportunity to talk to the older generation. “We have them to thank for the Traun in which we live today,” Karl-Heinz Koll and Peter Aichmayr agree.
