The Kassel Huskies won their first home game of the season on Sunday evening. In a close match against the Blue Devils Weiden, the North Hesse team narrowly won 3:2 (2:1, 0:1, 1:0).

Kassel’s goals were scored by Ryan Olsen, Hans Detsch and Tim Bender in the final third. For the Huskies, it was the second win in the second game of the season after their away win against the Lausitzer Füchse on Friday – a perfect start.

Bad Nauheim presents Crimmitschau

At the same time, the EC Bad Nauheim made a furious home debut. The Hessians beat the Eispiraten Crimmitschau 7:2 (2:0, 4:1, 1:1) at the ice stadium. After the Bad Nauheim team had lost to the EHC Freiburg on Friday (1:3), this time they left no doubt as to who would win the match.

By the middle of the second period, the decision had long been made with the score at 6:1. The goals for the home team were scored by Luigi Calce, Jordan Hickmott, Rik Gaidel, Pascal Steck, Brent Aubi, Kevin Orendorz and Tim Coffman.
