Thibaut Courtois – 7: He had a little scare with his knee, but he managed to shake it off. 100 clean sheets for Madrid, some good saves that night.

Daniel Carvajal – 6.5: Held his position defensively, with Arda, Brahim and later Rodrygo all posing an attacking threat down the right flank. Kept Javi Lopez and Becker in check.

Eder Militão – 7: The chemistry with Rüdiger improves with every game. Had 3 clearances, 3 tackles and won all his aerial duels.

Antonio Ruediger—7: Another good performance in defence where he battled with Sadiq for most of the game. Tried to find Mbappe with his long balls over the Real Sociedad defence.

Ferland Mendy – 8.5: Foot delivered a perfect defense, while Kubo struggled to find solutions against the Frenchman.

Luka Modric – 7.5: Did a tremendous amount of work during a 90 minute shift. Gave the team the composure they lacked when playing from the back. Finished the game with 3 key passes, including a perfect free kick into the box that Rüdiger picked up but failed to convert.

Federico Garcia Lorca – 8: He is once again one of the standout players, playing deeper in midfield but still managing to break through the lines with his ability to carry the ball.

Arda Guler—6: Played in midfield as a centre-back on the right. Made a bad mistake in the Madrid box that almost led to a goal by Kubo. Made up for it in the final third as it was Arda’s shot that led to the handball and the subsequent first penalty.

Brahim Diaz – 7: Had to be substituted in the first half due to injury, but cut a good figure on the pitch. Played a pass to Mbappe in the penalty area.

Vinicius Junior – 6.5: Despite not being at his best, he still managed to score a penalty and was fouled for the resulting second penalty, which Mbappe converted.

Kylian Mbappe – 7.5: Probably Mbappe’s best game so far in a Madrid shirt, despite not being able to score from open play. Moved along the attacking line and had 3 shots on goal despite tight angles.

Substitutions:

Lucas Vazquez – 6: Played in midfield to provide additional defensive stability and finish the game.

Rodrigo – 5.5: Came into the game early due to an injury to Brahim, but was unable to make a significant impact on the game.

Endrick – Not applicable: Substituted for Kylian Mbappe in the 88th minute.
