Game on Friday

With the win against Habach, Deisenhofen took a giant step away from the relegation zone. On home turf, it was clear to the second team of the Bavarian league club that they had to get three points against the relegation candidates from Habach in order to silence their relegation worries for the time being. But the party got off to a very bad start: Deisenhofen’s Oswald scored an own goal after just a quarter of an hour and the hosts were trailing early. However, Deisenhofen showed their morale and equalized with Lehmann’s goal after half an hour. There were no goals for a long time in the second half until Deisenhofen scored twice shortly before the end with Jungkunz and Vollmer. That sealed the deal, Habach had nothing more to add to the scoreboard and went home empty-handed.
