Eintracht Frankfurt’s match winner Omar Marmoush has to report

Dino Toppmöller actually didn’t have much to criticize about Omar Marmoush’s performance. The attacker scored both goals in the decisive 2-1 (1-0) win at VfL Wolfsburg and gave Eintracht Frankfurt a successful start to the season.

But Toppmöller was not at all happy that the match winner celebrated provocatively in front of the home fans when he returned to his former club.

“I didn’t like that,” said the Eintracht coach – and announced a conversation with his striker.

Nevertheless, words of praise were also likely to be heard. Marmoush, whose participation Eintracht had feared due to an lateral ligament injury, seamlessly continued his run from the previous season.
