Rossmann discovery: When I use this concealer, I no longer have dark circles under my eyes

To start the new day fresh and full of energy, I not only jump in the shower in the morning, but I have also developed my own personal beauty routine, which I then follow. In everyday life, the whole thing is super quick and uncomplicated. Without going into every single step, I will tell you that there is one product I always use. It is a concealer.

For me, a concealer is an indispensable beauty product. A concealer stick is always in my cosmetic bag and I buy another one as soon as it runs out. Even if I have already discovered one or two favorite concealers for myself, I always like to test new products and give them a chance to convince me.

The “True Match Radiant Serum Concealer” by L’Oréal Paris* recently landed in my office. The product from the French beauty company is not only available in drugstores such as Rossmann, dm or Müller, but also in perfumeries such as Douglas or Lookfantastic.

A concealer is a beauty product that is used every day, not just for me but for many others too. And there is a reason for that, of course. A concealer is an all-rounder and has the trusted task of concealing dark circles under the eyes, redness, pigment spots or pimples. The concealer has a higher coverage than a foundation, is only applied to specific areas and is not spread over the entire face.

One concealer that is now available to help is the “True Match Radiant Serum Concealer” by L’Oréal*. The product is available in 16 different shades (!).

What can the concealer do according to L’Oréal? The product contains hyaluronic acid and caffeine. It is supposed to moisturize, smooth, plump and radiant the skin. The special “iron applicator” (really looks like a small iron) is supposed to precisely correct dark circles and lighten shadow areas.

I tested the concealer:

The applicator makes it easy to dose the liquid concealer and apply it to specific areas of the face. I usually use a concealer to lighten dark circles under the eyes. That’s why I also apply the L’Oréal product under my eyes and gently pat it in. Then I apply a small dot of the product to the inner and outer corner of my eye. This creates an optical lifting effect.

The texture of the concealer is creamy and light. It spreads easily and blends into my skin. The product leaves a pleasant, cared-for feeling and a smooth finish. My skin doesn’t look dry or tight.

The product also has a good coverage. Not too light, but not too strong either, so my eye area doesn’t look cakey – it doesn’t look mask-like or unnatural. My eye area doesn’t look matte either, but rather slightly shiny. The product doesn’t contain any shimmer particles, though.

For me, the concealer is definitely a solid product that is very well suited to concealing light dark circles under the eyes and caring for the eye area at the same time.

Good to know: By the way, to cover dark circles under the eyes, I always use a shade that is one shade lighter than my skin tone or foundation. To conceal spots, redness and pigmentation, the concealer should be the same color as your skin tone or foundation.
