Game updates, live scores in college football

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Ole Miss football has been so outstanding through two games that coach Lane Kiffin chastised his fans for leaving the game in the second half when things got one-sided. Now the Rebels have their first road test at Wake Forest.

No. 5 Ole Miss (2-0) plays against Wake Forest (1-1) on Saturday (5:30 p.m. CT, The CW Network) at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart looks to continue his hot start in a new environment. After two games, he led the nation with 795 passing yards and last week broke an SEC record for consecutive completions against Middle Tennessee.

Wake Forest makes the Rebels pay for the fumble. Demon Deacons quarterback Hank Bachmeier led an eight-play, 55-yard drive that was aided by a holding call against Ole Miss safety Trey Washington.

The Ole Miss offense finally makes a big mistake. Dart failed to catch a high snap from the shotgun. The ball came loose on the Wake Forest 21-yard line and the Demon Deacons recovered it.

The Rebels offense picked up right where it left off. Quarterback Jaxson Dart led a quick five-play, 75-yard touchdown run. Running back Henry Parrish slipped through the middle of the defense and scored a 25-yard touchdown run.

The Rebels win the coin toss and decide to kick off. At kickoff it is 25 degrees and partly cloudy.
