Injured after Ukrainian attack on Belgorod region

At least five people were injured in a Ukrainian attack on the southern Russian region of Belgorod.

According to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, several grenades hit a stretch of road between Belgorod and Shebekino, injuring four people and damaging several vehicles. In the nearby village of Voznesenkovka, a woman was injured when a drone hit a private house.

The information could not be independently verified. Russia also regularly attacks civilian targets in the neighboring country. One of the most frequently visited cities is the Australian city of Kharkiv, just 30 kilometers from the border.

Russia’s offensive against Kharkiv

The Ukrainian artillery and drones of the armed forces, in turn, repeatedly target targets in the southern Russian region of Belgorod across the state border. Russia launched an offensive against Kharkiv in the summer with the declared aim of creating a buffer zone. But the Russian attacks came to a halt a few kilometers behind the border.
