Gardaí investigate house fire and other cases of property damage in Cork

Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage following a fire which occurred at a private residence in the Fortlands area of ​​Charleville, County Cork on Friday evening.

According to Gardai, there were no people on the premises at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.

Gardaí are also investigating a case of criminal damage to a car which occurred later that evening at around 9.55pm in the Rathgoggin area of ​​Charleville.

They ask anyone with information about these incidents to contact them.

The Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire which occurred at approximately 8.50pm yesterday evening, Friday 13 September 2024, at a private residence in the Fortlands area of ​​Charleville, County Cork.

Anyone, including road users and pedestrians, who was in the Charleville area between 5pm and 11pm on Friday 13 September 2024 and observed any unusual activity is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.

Gardaí are also appealing for information about an Audi A6, a white Skoda Rapid, a BMW and a silver Ford Focus currently travelling in the Charleville area.

Any road users or pedestrians who were travelling in the area at the time and who may have camera footage (including dashboard cameras) are asked to please provide it to the Gardaí.
