Fire brigades practice in the Fire Dragon – Osthessen|News

14.09.24 – The dragon is back in Fulda: to be precise, the “Fire Dragon” from Dräger. The fire simulation system is stopping off again in the rescue vehicle trade fair city of Fulda. Volunteer firefighters are coming from all over the district to the Fulda-Nord base so as not to miss out on this fire.

In the gas-fired fire training facility, the emergency services can practice tactical firefighting under realistic conditions under controlled conditions without endangering themselves. The putting on and correctly removing fire protection clothing is also demonstrated. The instructors give the comrades appropriate feedback so that in an emergency they do not endanger themselves and save lives.

In cooperation with the city of Fulda, the district of Fulda offers the forces a realistic scenario through the fire simulation system from Dräger and thus invests in the training of the fire brigades and the safety of the population. (Henrik Schmitt) +++
