When does Community Day start in September 2024?

The current Community Day in Pokémon Go takes place on Saturday, 14 September 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m..

On this day you can catch the following Pokémon and benefit from this bonus:

• Saturday, September 14, 2024 – Ponyta, Galar Ponyta + triple Catch Stardust, double Catch Candy and double chance of XL Candy from Trainer Level 31

What else you should know:

• Power during the event up to five snapshotsto attract some additional Ponyta and Galar Ponyta around you.
• If you have Ponyta or Galar Ponyta during the event and up to five hours afterward, Gallopa or Galar Gallopa developed, it learns the Charge Attack Surge.
• Decoy modules and smoke hold during the event three hours
• Each exchange during the event and up to five hours afterward costs 50% less stardust.
• It is an additional special exchange available, on this day also total two pieces.
• For around one euro, there is a new and suitable special research in the in-game shop.

Bonus Raid Battles against Ponyta and Galar Ponyta after Community Day

When the normal Community Day period is over, you can 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. continue for several hours. During this time, it is possible to fight Ponyta and Galar Ponyta in four-star raids.

If you successfully complete such a raid, more wild Ponyta and Galar Ponyta will appear around the respective arena for 30 minutes. The shiny chance is just as high as during the official event period.

Please note that you can only participate in these raid battles on site, even with a regular raid pass or a premium battle pass. Participation via remote raid is not possible.

How does Community Day work in Pokémon Go?

During Community Day, a specific Pokémon usually takes center stage and dominates the action in Pokémon Go for several hours.

The respective Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the event period, and you can also attract it with smoke and lure modules and take a few snapshots for additional encounters.

In addition, there are bonuses, evolved Pokémon can have exclusive attacks, and in most cases the shiny specimen of the respective Pokémon makes its debut in the game during the Community Day. On top of that, the chances of catching a shiny specimen are significantly increased during the event period.
