The young attacker Fisnik Asllani is the shooting star of the second division. After four games he has already scored four goals and provided one assist.

Munich – TSG Hoffenheim has left a turbulent summer break behind them. Particularly encouraging, however, is the rise of a player they loaned to SV Elversberg. Fisnik Asllani has established himself as one of the shooting stars of the second division. The striker has already scored four goals and provided one assist in just four league games. These impressive statistics testify to the quality of the new signing.

Asllani was also on FC Bayern’s watch list

Asllani received his training at Union Berlin. In the summer of 2020, there was a race for the then 17-year-old. In addition to TSG, according to Sport Bild, FC Schalke 04, Hertha BSC and FC Bayern Munich also showed interest in him. They all recognized the enormous potential of the German-Kosovan, who had already impressed with five goals at his loan station Austria Vienna before suffering a tendon rupture.

Now Asllani plans to further his career in Elversberg. Sports director Ole Book has already praised him: “Fisnik has a fine character. He is very mature for his age and is on his way to becoming a leading player.” In Saarland, they have a knack for promoting talent as best as possible. Nick Woltemade, Paul Wanner and currently Elias Baum are perfect examples of this, alongside Asllani.

Asllani aims to return to Hoffenheim

Coach Horst Steffen has a feeling for when to use his players. The substitution on the second matchday against 1. FC Köln brought about a turnaround. Elversberg had no chance in the first half and were 0-1 down. Then Asllani came on and turned the game around with a goal and an assist. The late equalizer did not change his outstanding performance, which he confirmed with three more goals in the games against Karlsruhe (2-3) and Darmstadt (4-0). It is no wonder that FC Bayern were interested in the striker, who wants to return to Hoffenheim in the summer.
