Renewable energy, responsible practices: Altus Power publishes third annual sustainability report

Highlights of the 2023 report include:

  • 896 MW of solar PV installed and operated, an increase of 71% over the previous year.
  • Solar projects generated 780,000 MWh of renewable electricity, preventing approximately 551,000 tonnes of CO2(e) emissions.
  • In 2023, 43% of management positions were held by women.
  • The health and safety of employees has been prioritised and a dedicated Health and Safety Manager has been appointed
  • Expanded access to the benefits of clean electricity to thousands of low- and moderate-income (LMI) customers in its community solar markets by minimizing barriers to entry such as credit requirements, long-term contracts, payment processing fees, and cancellation fees.
  • Has joined the United Nations Global Compact and is committed to its principles-based approach to responsible business
