The last game of the German Football League 2 North will take place next Saturday, September 14, 2024. In the catch-up game, which was originally scheduled to take place on June 1 and was cancelled due to severe storms, the Cottbus Crayfish met the Oldenburg Knights.

It will be the last game of the season and also the only game this Saturday. Kickoff is at 4 p.m. in the Cottbus sports center – admission is free for all fans. For the Cottbus Crayfish, this game is no longer about staying in the league. The team has already been relegated and will have to say goodbye to the GFL 2 North after this season. Nevertheless, the Crayfish want to give it their all in their last home game. Above all, they want to end the season on a positive note with a win for their loyal fans, supporters and sponsors. Despite the disappointing season, the Crayfish are highly motivated to give their fans a home win as a farewell gift.

For the Oldenburg Knights, however, everything is still at stake this Saturday. With a win, they can secure their place in the GFL 2 North and avert the threat of relegation to the third division. If the Knights win, the Bielefeld Bulldogs would have to move down to the third division. If the Knights lose, however, this would mean the end of their time in the GFL 2.

The game promises to be another exciting and hard-fought duel, with the Crayfish hoping to end the match with one last strong performance. A visit to the Cottbus sports center is worthwhile.
