Laura Loomer and Marjorie Taylor Greene argue, Xitter fetches the tea

Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene and commentator Laura Loomer are embroiled in an ugly online dispute that has social media users watching with glee.

The aftermath of former President Donald Trump’s disastrous debate with Vice President Kamala Harris took a turn when Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene got into a heated online argument with far-right extremist Laura Loomer. Greene had commented on an overly racist post Loomer made on X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend about Vice President Harris’ South Asian heritage. “This is appalling and extremely racist.” “This does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA,” she wrote. “This does not represent President Trump. This behavior should never be tolerated.”

Loomer fired off a series of posts on X shortly after, attacking Greene. “It’s really funny how @mtgreenee (an angry anti-Semite who claims Jews are controlling the world with space lasers) wants to pretend I’m a ‘racist’ for making a funny joke about Kamala Harris making cooking videos and buying curry seasoning from an anti-Trump spice shop, and making fun of how she uses her Indian mother to dodge questions,” she wrote in one post, claiming Greene was “jealous” of her.

Loomer went on to viciously denigrate Greene, mocking her divorce and using Arby’s fast food as a name for one of her body parts. She also insinuated that Greene slept with former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Loomer then demanded that Greene be removed from office by a “Republican or Democrat” and said she would give up information about her for free. Greene responded, “Laura and I have been friends since 2018. I have defended and supported her.” On Thursday (September 12), Greene again publicly denounced Loomer at a press conference on Capitol Hill.

The spark for the dispute came from an Axios report that Loomer was on Trump’s private plane en route to Philadelphia for the debate, where she “incited” him to attack Harris with grievances instead of sticking to debate strategy. Loomer (a fanatical 9/11 conspiracy theorist) was also with Trump at the 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York City. Social media users who watched the exchange reveled in the two hateful personalities attacking each other.
