Papaplatte promoted cryptocurrency on his X-Account, or did he? Apparently his account was hacked live on stream.

Cologne – The well-known German streamer Papaplatte hosted a stream together with his colleagues Trymacs and Knossi. During the three attempts to win the million-euro prize in “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”, Papaplatte was made aware of the hack by his chat. Instead of data or money, however, they just wanted… advertising?

Not so bad: Anyone who looked at Papaplatte’s Twitter account at a random time on September 10, 2024, will have seen advertisements for cryptocurrency. However, the tweets that appeared in regular intervals did not come from the streamer. Papaplatte was the victim of a hacking attack. However, he didn’t really lose much – actually just time.

Actually funny: However, Papaplatte never felt any real concern or reason to panic. Instead, he made fun of the tweets and the hackers. The streamer doesn’t think the tactics behind the attack were that clever:

How bad, as someone who hacks like that. Making an announcement that we’re going to post something cool. That’s really bad. […] That’s really stupid. He has to be the dumbest hacker that ever existed.

These are not professional hackers“Added Trymacs. He was sitting in the background with Knossi, who told his own hacking story. The attack on Knossi wasn’t as bad as the one on Papaplatte. His Amazon account was hacked and he sent several packages to different addresses. But he eventually got the situation under control. In August, the official DAZN account was also hacked.

Sharp: The funniest thing about the whole hack was a revelation. Papaplatte often uses his X-Account to log into other portals so that he doesn’t have to create an account. It turned out that he also has an OnlyFans account. The whole thing was obviously not embarrassing for the streamer. He is said to have not subscribed to anyone.
